30 Participants from 27 Companies – Bio, Robotics, Cosmetics, Food, and Machinery Startups Build Practical Skills

VM Consulting, a company specializing in exhibition and venue marketing, successfully conducted a two-day "Global Exhibition Marketing Bootcamp" from April 2 to 3 in collaboration with Incheon Technopark (ITP) in Korea.
The program was designed for early-stage exporters based in Incheon to strengthen their global marketing and trade show participation capabilities.
A total of 30 professionals from 27 companies participated in the training, representing a diverse range of industries, including biotechnology, robotics, cosmetics, food, and machinery.
The boot camp provided a valuable opportunity for Incheon’s startups and SMEs to deepen their understanding of global exhibition strategies and apply them to their own brands.
Leveraging its extensive consulting experience at global exhibitions, VM Consulting curated a hands-on, practical program focused on real-world implementation. The curriculum covered:
Pre-show preparation and planning
Booth design and brand storytelling
Cross-cultural buyer engagement
Post-show follow-up and performance analysis
Participants engaged in team-based workshops, developing tailored marketing plans for their own brands and receiving detailed feedback from experts.
The boot camp received strong positive feedback. A participant from a robotics company stated, “I’ve never attended such an in-depth and practical exhibition marketing course. I hope to continue receiving strategic consulting to refine our exhibition approach.”
David Lee, VM Consulting CEO, commented, "Exhibitions must go beyond attendance — they require strategic execution to deliver tangible export outcomes. We designed this boot camp to help companies shift from ‘just showing’ to ‘actually achieving results.’"
The boot camp was hosted by Incheon Metropolitan City and Incheon Technopark as part of the Export Beginner Business Support Program 2025. Further education and consulting initiatives to support local SMEs' global expansion are also planned.
